HeartKids Two Feet & A Heartbeat charity walk is back for another year.
The walk will be held on the 15th of October across Australia in over 30 locations (some regional locations will hold their event on a different date in October - check each event for specific dates).
Each event includes options to walk 4km for the four young lives lost each week or you can do the 8km loop representing the eight children born each day with CHD. Participants are encouraged to walk as a group with prams and strollers at a comfortable pace, while waving their flags that represent their journey.
Two Feet & A Heartbeat is the largest national HeartKids event and is open to people with all abilities. It is run as a diverse intergenerational event to include families and friends and volunteers from all backgrounds. This event is also open to all community groups to be a part of and in the past, we have had a diverse group of people and volunteers who have made this event a huge success.
On the day
Upon arrival, the registration and QR check-in process will start. The event will commence with an Acknowledgment to Country, and then Heart Angel families and friends will have the opportunity to join a memorial service at the start of the walk to remember and honour their cherished individuals.
In 2023, a virtual offering will continue to be offered for those unable to attend a physical event due to location. We encourage participants all over Australia to participate in their own communities and support HeartKids from their own homes or at an event.
All socks and flags (and merchandise if ordered) will be posted to you prior to the event unless ordered after 20th September, then these will be available at the location.

$75 Family tickets are available for groups of 2 adults and either 2 or 3 children.
