Jon Cunningham (City Country)

City Country has formed a team and will be participating in HeartKids Two Feet and a Heartbeat Walk on the 16th of October. In honour of the 4 lives lost to CHD each week.

As family is such an important part of our business, there is no surprise we chose to support HeartKids after the diagnosis of one of our family members, Savannah, back in 2018

Savannah was born with congenital dilated cardiomyopathy, which progressed to severe heart failure, requiring a heart transplant.

Along her journey, interstate move (which was required for transplant listing) and long-term hospital admission (299 Days!) HeartKids were there to support Savannah, and our family. Providing things like accommodation, respite and friendship.

It is with extreme heartache we have to say Savannah became a heart angel in June 2019 at just 14 months old. The support from HeartKids didn't stop there, still being in regular contact and offering whatever support they can throughout the on-going grieving process.

We are dedicated to helping other families that find themselves in this position and appreciate any and all support.
